Bear Lake, Labor Day, 2015

(I don't know how I forgot about these photos, but better late than never..)

Labor Day, 2015 found us doing what we promised we would do when we moved closer, making family a priority.  A quick weekend trip would have been impossible in Alabama, but now, with only a mere 13hr drive, it's doable.
A stay at Bear Lake might just have to become a Labor Day tradition.

It was unseasonably cold, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the water and the mountain. We spelunked and swam and shivered, but all with people we love, so that made it perfect! Till next year!

Mt. Lemmon, AZ

We spent an exciting weekend on Mt. Lemmon in Tucson, AZ.  What a fantastic surprise to discover so much snow a mere 1.5 hrs from our front door.  Who knew? We had a beautiful cabin with the perfect sledding hill right in the back yard.

Sadie was so exhausted from her first day of real sledding that she fell asleep sitting up.  We can't wait to get to know Mt. Lemmon in both the Summer and Winter.  Thanks to good new friends for sharing their weekend with us!
