I found it in his backpack.  I haven't asked because I don't want to cause tears, but I'm interpreting this as a beloved hill at the park by our house on Lake St.  A 7 yr old's tribute to what he's missing at the moment, drawn in a hurried moment at school.

  1. We've had some new snow over the past couple of days so we headed over to the park today. The kids wanted to sled with friends--we were so wishing you were here to go with us. Syrina asked me just today if it was hard not having you guys around. I told her there was a huge hole in our lives and nothing's come along to fill it yet--I can't imagine that it ever will. You guys are just irreplaceable. We're missing you too.

  2. Oh, how sweet! We miss you guys! Hope you had a great Christmas and hope you have a fabulous year!
